This is what we use for your order
Windows and floors are not always perfectly level
Note whether your pole or track is already installed
Measure the full usable width of your existing pole or track, then measure the drop from the correct starting point for your heading style.
Choose your intended installation height first and base your measurements on that position. Decide how wide you want the pole or track to extend beyond the window.

If your pole or track is already fitted, measure the full usable width from end to end — not the window itself.
If your pole or track is not fitted yet, measure the window width and decide how far you want the pole or track to extend beyond each side. Around 15–20 cm each side is a common starting point, but this can vary depending on the window and how much stack-back you want.

Measure from the bottom of the curtain rings to where you want the curtains to finish.
Measure from the hole in the individual gliders to where you want the curtains to finish.
Measure from the top of the pole to where you want the curtains to finish.
Finishes just above the windowsill
Finishes approximately 5–15 cm below the sill
Usually finishes around 1–2 cm above the floor
Add extra length if you want the fabric to pool on the floor
Send us your measurements and a few photos of your window and we’ll happily check them before you order.
